BIODIVERSITY STAFF ASSISTANT
East Kalimantan
Job Responsibilities
Support the implementation of biodiversity management and development activities;
Assist in research activities, such as data collection, data analysis, and scientific publications;
Monitor the behavior, health, and other factors affecting released orangutans through regular patrols;
Conduct flora and fauna protection activities through routine biodiversity inventories;
Manage archives and documentation of biodiversity management and development activities;
Help coordinate and ensure all activities run according to the operational plan and set objectives;
Prepare reports and evaluations on the execution of activities.
Job Requirements
Male/female
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Forestry, or a related field
Maximum age: 28 years
Physically and mentally fit
Ability to work independently and in teams
Willing to be stationed at a camp in East Kalimantan
Proficient in Microsoft Office and mapping software is a plus
Good command of English (both written and spoken) is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
