BIODIVERSITY STAFF ASSISTANT

East Kalimantan

Job Responsibilities 

  • Support the implementation of biodiversity management and development activities;

  • Assist in research activities, such as data collection, data analysis, and scientific publications;

  • Monitor the behavior, health, and other factors affecting released orangutans through regular patrols;

  • Conduct flora and fauna protection activities through routine biodiversity inventories;

  • Manage archives and documentation of biodiversity management and development activities;

  • Help coordinate and ensure all activities run according to the operational plan and set objectives;

  • Prepare reports and evaluations on the execution of activities.

 

Job Requirements

  • Male/female

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Forestry, or a related field

  • Maximum age: 28 years

  • Physically and mentally fit

  • Ability to work independently and in teams

  • Willing to be stationed at a camp in East Kalimantan

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and mapping software is a plus

  • Good command of English (both written and spoken) is a plus

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
