Animal reintroduction is one of the conservation strategies involving the release or relocation of rehabilitated animals back to their native-habitats.

The focus of PT. RHOI in wildlife reintroduction programs is the release of rehabilitated orangutans. PT. RHOI helps provide natural habitats for orangutans, taking into account factors such as habitat availability, food sources, and potential threats.

To support the success of orangutan releases, PT. RHOI has formed a Post-Release Monitoring (PRM) team responsible for assessing the success of orangutan releases. This involves observing behavior and health monitoring activities.

Furthermore, the PRM team is responsible for conducting forest patrols and monitor-ing areas to create a conducive environment. Area monitoring includes biodiversity inventory and phenology assessments, which are used to enhance the importance of habitat protection.
