Ecosystem restoration refers to the process of renewing ecosystems that have been degraded or damaged.

The activity of restoring damaged forests to become productive again, to some extent, provided benefits for the environment and society. The hope is that this endeavor can restore biodiversity and enhance ecosystem services.

Engaging communities is crucial for the success of ecosystem restoration. Local knowledge and active participation can lead to more sustainable restoration efforts.

In this context, PT. RHOI has formed a Community Development (ComDev) team to support these efforts. The team will systematically approach communities by identifying and addressing their needs. The goal is for the community to improve their well-being while simultaneously contributing to environmental protection.

PT. RHOI is making a concerted effort to develop tangible and effective interventions aimed at enhancing community capacity and providing new livelihood opportunities that support the protection and preservation of natural resources.
